1. What is an NYTimes.com Group Subscription?
NYTimes.com Group Subscriptions are a way for organizations to provide digital access for a number of their members. A group subscription provides access to a set number of authorized users, and allows an account administrator to manage the list of users. If you are part of an organization that is providing a group subscription and would like information on enjoying your access, contact your organization's account administrator.
2. How do I gain access through my organization's NYTimes.com Group Subscription?
If you have questions about being added to your organization's group subscription, please contact your organization's group subscription administrator. After you are added as an authorized user, you will receive a welcome e-mail with instructions on how to register for access.

3. I have digital access to NYTimes content through a group subscription. What do I get?
The organization providing the group subscription determines the exact benefits. There are three options:
NYTimes.com + Smartphone Apps:
- NYTimes.com from any computer or device
- NYTimes app for Windows Phone, iPhone and Android-powered phones
NYTimes.com + Tablet Apps:
- NYTimes.com from any computer or device
- NYTimes app for iPad, plus The Collection app for iPad
All Digital Access:
- NYTimes.com from any computer or device
- NYTimes app for Windows Phone, iPhone and Android-powered phones
- NYTimes app for iPad, plus The Collection app for iPad
Note: NYTimes apps are not supported on all devices. Group subscriptions do not include e-reader editions, Premium Crosswords or The New York Times Crosswords apps. All Digital Access group subscriptions do not include shared all digital access. Additional restrictions may apply.
4. I am the administrator for my organization's NYTimes.com Group Subscription — how do I access my account?
You can administer your account from the Access Management Tool, available at www.nytimes.com/groupadmin. You can also navigate to the Access Management Tool from the My Account area. Please note, the Access Management Tool is only available to the administrator of an organization's group subscription.
5. I received a welcome e-mail to register for access through a group subscription — what do I do?
To begin enjoying digital access, you must log in to your NYTimes.com account, as outlined in the welcome e-mail.
If you do not have a password, click here to set your NYTimes.com password. You must enter the e-mail address the welcome message was sent to.
After logging in or setting up your password, you will receive unlimited access to NYTimes.com, in addition to certain apps, depending on the group subscription package purchased by your organization. The welcome e-mail contains information on the level of digital access you were granted. 6. I was added as an authorized user but I never received a welcome e-mail — what do I do?
You need to verify that you were added to the group subscription. Contact the administrator of your organization's group subscription. Please note, if you are an existing New York Times subscriber, you will not be able to use your organization's group subscription.
7. I am an authorized user of my organization's group subscription. How do I get help if I have issues with my access?
First, contact your organization's administrator to determine whether you have been properly added to the group subscription. If so, please contact New York Times Customer Care at (800) 591-9233 or e-mail us at help@nytimes.com.

Group subscriptions have All Digital Access, which includes:
- NYTimes.com from any computer or device

- Select access to archived articles

Yes. We offer volume discounts based on the number of authorized users and the digital subscription package. For noneducational organizations, contact groupsubs@nytimes.com for more information.

11. What are the minimum and maximum number of seats I can purchase in a group subscription?
The minimum number of seats an organization may purchase in a group subscription is 5. There is no maximum number of seats.
12. How are group subscriptions billed?
Group subscriptions are billed annually, and invoices are mailed to the organization before or soon after the group subscription access begins.
